Our resources help children find their voices – whatever language they speak.

Science has proven that the earlier a child is exposed to a second language the easier it is for them to acquire it, and being bilingual has lifelong personal and cultural benefits. We’ve embraced this knowledge and spent years researching and developing interactive stories and games that we know pre-schoolers and parents will love. We’re currently Beta testing the Poppy and Buddy app, which has been proven to be an effective, efficient, and fun tool for language learning.

Our Director, Jeff Brown, observed how his young twins’ first language acquisition was significantly enhanced by reading to them, and wished to apply the same principles to teaching them a second language. He scoured the internet for bilingual resources but when nothing met his expectations, he resolved to design something himself. Jeff was determined to develop a product that combined illustrated, interactive stories with narrations and games in multiple languages for children to see, hear, understand and learn a new language.

When Jeff discovered the brilliance of artist Richard Hoit, the Poppy and Buddy range of products was born.
